Tyler Gilbert       Founder and Director

Tyler hails from the city of brotherly love but and admits to being “Californicated” and for the last ten years he has called Los Angeles home.  Tyler has been a lacrosse fixture in the Conejo Valley where he has been a Varsity head coach since 2006 and has coached  all over the greater Los Angeles area  including outreach programs with US Lacrosse.  He has also trained over ten players competing in the college ranks.

Tyler played his high school lacrosse Episcopal High School where he was a three sport athlete and garnered All-American honors at  his senior year in lacrosse.  He was then lucky enough to be part of two NCAA National Championship teams in his collegiate playing days; one with Washington College in 1998 and also with University of Virginia in 1999.  He is the only player in NCAA history to win a D-III and D-I National Championship in successive years.

Tyler is the creator of the Prolific Lacrosse Training system and the PPI score (PlayerPerformance Index) and co-founder of the Prolific club teams.  He has been developing youth and High School talent in the greater Los Angeles area for over a decade and continues to work tirelessly to grow the game of lacrosse in Southern California.

Mike Delabar       Head Coach, High School

Coach Delabar is the director of the Prolific Lacrosse club teams and has been one of the most dedicated lacrosse coaches in the Conejo Valley for the past 11 years.

Delabar graduated from Catawba College in North Carolina, where he played both soccer and lacrosse at the Division II level, earning All-Conference honors in both sports.  In 2002 Mike was awarded Division II All-American honors in lacrosse and was Catawba College’s Athlete of the Year.

Mike has coached all levels of lacrosse in his 11 years in the Los Angeles area.  Currently, he is the Head Coach and Director of Lacrosse Operations at the Viewpoint School, as well as the new Head Coach of Occidental College Men’s Lacrosse Team.  Mike still remains heavily involved with youth lacrosse in Los Angeles and works with several club organizations.

Mike Song       Coach, Elite/High School/YouthProlific-Lacrosse-Michael-Song

Michael Song has been playing lacrosse since his childhood in Virginia, and he has coached the sport for over a decade to youth through varsity high school players.  As a player, Michael was a midfielder for the Korea National Team in the 2002 World Lacrosse Championships, starting all games including Sweden, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Wales, and Ireland.  Previously, Michael attended Lehigh University, the St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, VA and the Pomfret School in Connecticut.

As a coach, Michael helped lead the Hollywood Youth Lacrosse Club to an undefeated season in 2013, including winning the West LA League Championships.  Coach Song has also led the Mira Costa JV Boys team in 2014 to an 11-1 record, as well as assisting Varsity with implementing Division I- and world-level coaching techniques and plays.  Recently, Coach Song has been named head of Long Beach Poly High School, a top 10 sports school in the country according ESPN.  Michael currently also plays for the Beverly Hills premiere mens lacrosse club.

Dane Griffin       Coach, Youth

Coach Griffin has been playing and coaching youth for both field and indoor lacrosse for the past 7 years.  Dane was a standout goalie at Thousand Oaks HS, while also lettering in varsity football, earning a scholarship to Humboldt State.  Coach Griffin works with Prolific’s youth teams, and he is also earning is undergraduate degree at Santa Monica College.
